Club Raro Resort

Club Raro offers the services and facilities of a much larger resort while giving you the intimacy and personal attention that you will only find at smaller properties. Club Raro is located on the scenic North Coast of Rarotonga, amongst swaying coconut trees and nestled in tropical gardens, overlooking the lagoon. The coral beach is ideal for shell collecting or reef walking and offers spectacular views of the rolling surf breaking on the nearby reef.

All of our Studio Units, Garden, Poolside and Beachfront Rooms are air-conditioned and guest facilities include a fresh water swimming pool,(with swim up pool bar), spacious sun and sand decks over looking the lagoon, a bar and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner plus we have Car and Scooter hire on site and a travel and tour desk for island excursions. The Cook Islanders are a fun-loving, warm and generous people who extend a friendly Kia Orana! to their guests. Location
Club Raro is situated on the picturesque north coast of Rarotonga, capital of the Cook Islands, due south of Hawaii and 1 hour by plane from Tahiti. The resort is conveniently located just 2kms from Avarua township and only fifteen minutes from the airport.

We offer four room categories: 6 self catering Studio Units ~ 20 Garden Rooms ~ 20 Pool Side rooms ~ 15 Lagoonfront rooms

All 61 rooms at the Club Raro Resort are spacious and cool with a polynesian décor, featuring: Air-conditioning ~ ceiling fan ~ Refrigerator ~ IDD Telephone ~ Private bathroom with shower ~ Tea/Coffee making facilities ~ satellite TV and room servicing daily.

In addition, there are some special features in our Sudio Units and Lagoonfront rooms:

Dining & Entertainment
The Club Raro Restaurant and Bar is the ideal place for casual dining or enjoying one of our delicious Island Cocktails. Happy hour from 5-7pm every evening on the sun decks are a great place to mix and mingle with fellow guests and a great opportunity to make new friends while enjoying a refreshing drink from our extensive bar menu.

Private Functions can also be held at the Club Raro Resort. We cater on request for weddings, receptions, celebrations, company or group functions and retreats. We have menus and ready-made proposals available on request.

Our Bars are open from 10am till 10pm everyday and serve an extensive selection of wines, beers, juice, soft drinks, energy drinks, spirits and cocktails. Try out the swim up pool bar and let our friendly bartenders serve you while you relax and stay refreshed in the cool water.

Facilities
Freshwater Swimming pool with swim up pool bar, sun decks with sunlounges, therapeutic outdoor massage on our sand deck - every Wednesday (occupancy dependant), tennis court.

Activities
Our Reception Staff can arrange a host of island activities and excursions. We can organise circle island tours, Safari tours, fishing trips and scuba diving just to name a few - pick up’s available from the resort. There is a golf course 20 minutes away, and a lagoon reserve which is great for snorkelling only 10 minutes away. The Resort also provides scooter & pushbike hire. Complimentary is a Full size tennis court, snorkelling gear and reef shoes.

Weddings
Club Raro Resort offers several wedding packages. We invite you to share your very special day with us. In realising how each person is unique and how treasured this day it to you, we have produced a range of romantic island wedding packages designed to cater for small, intitmate ceremonies or larger groups with family and friends, and offer a wide range of ready made options to tailor to individual requirements. We have the only traditional function hall on the island (Te Are Karioi - Meeting house)to compliment your wedding (max occupancy 120 pax)
